Q is for Quiz

This post is inspired by Sayesha, both because she gave me the idea for the letter and because she does Bollywood A to Z quizzes (how topical, right?) on her own blog that are really fun to crack. I don’t have nearly the level of in-depth information on Bollywood that some of her readers do, so I thought I’d take a stab at doing one that caters to the Hollywood crowd. Since we’re at the letter Q, this will be an A to Q quiz, and the theme is actors who’ve guest-starred on the show Friends.

A and B starred together in a series of blockbuster heist movies, which also featured C as one of the few females in a testosterone-dominated cast. B co-starred with D in a time-travel movie that reached cult status among sci-fi fans. D‘s ex-wife made gossip news for dating and then marrying a younger actor, who, at the time, was on a long-running sitcom also starring E in a parental role. More recently, the aforementioned young actor replaced F on another long-running sitcom after the latter was fired. F was briefly married to G, who is well-known for being horribly miscast in a Bond movie. The actor who played James Bond in this movie had a supporting role in a comedy starring a cross-dressing H, who passed away recently. H‘s latest venture into television involved an actress from a popular TV show involving vampires, who met her husband, I, on the set of a teen horror movie in the late ’90s. The horror movie also starred a young actor whose Oscar-nominated (now) ex-wife, J, starred with him, the aforementioned TV actress and actress K on another project. K was the star of yet another popular series of horror flicks, in which both a main Friends cast member and her (now) ex-husband, L, played significant roles. J played a small role in a psychological thriller as the girlfriend of a serial killer played by an actor who later went on to lead a major DC superhero series, starring English actor M in an important supporting role. M‘s guest role on Friends earned him an Emmy nomination. On other other end of the superhero spectrum, N made a name for himself as the director of a Marvel superhero movie that kick-started the first phase of a major (still running) franchise. The star of this movie joined actor O in a comedy about a bunch of actors shooting a big-budget war movie that goes terribly wrong. P is the wife of another actor in the Marvel franchise (an actor whose first name seems very common among actors in the Marvel universe). P is a comedic actress,  famous for a series of horror-parody movies. Actress Q played an antagonistic role on a different superhero movie series that has recently been partly rebooted. In the reboot, Q‘s role is now played by an Oscar-winning younger actress. To close the loop, Q’s ex-husband and A both starred in a popular, long-running medical drama, albeit not at the same time.

Wow, I might have made that a little more difficult than I intended to, but I hope I’ve given enough clues that someone will be able to crack it!

Good luck, and may the Friends be with you!
